Sport Mode consists of three daily races that reset every week. įor the first time in the series, the game features Porsche vehicles included in the game after Electronic Arts' licensing rights to the Porsche brand had expired (previous Gran Turismo installments included Ruf cars as a substitute). It includes 366 cars and 82 configurations in 32 locations to race on as of July 2021. Unlike Gran Turismo 5 and 6, the game does not feature a dynamic weather system or day-night cycle, but players still have the option to modify the race's time of day before entering the race. The game has been described as different from the "Prologue" titles seen in the past in the series and features more content. Online racing is also featured in the game and saving is only allowed in online mode, unlike its predecessors. Similar to its predecessors, Gran Turismo Sport is a racing game and includes two game modes: "Sport Mode" and "Arcade Mode". Here, the player is driving the Mazda MX-5 at Nürburgring Nordschleife. Perhaps if enough of the same roads are captured, the game’s designers will update it with the additional details, such as bushes, buildings, signs and more.Gran Turismo Sport is the first of the Gran Turismo series on PlayStation 4.
If all goes well you should be able to play the recently traversed road, as well as share it with friends. The process apparently involves turning on the app (duh), then uploading the data to the GT servers. As Road and Track points out, it’s likely that the road side scenery won’t be accurate, if even existent, but seeing as the app tracks both GPS and elevation, you should end up with a true to life representation of some of your favorite drives. Sounds sick, don’t it?! It’s all part of the GT6’s track creator feature. GT6, otherwise known as Gran Turismo 6, will include its very own smartphone app that can track your daily drives and then recreate them, automatically mind you, in the game itself.
But let me tell you something you didn’t already know. And those next-gen consoles are to include games that work in tandem or play complement to your smartphone or tablet device.
This year is the year of next-gen consoles.
